Task 4: Bronchial smooth muscle cells — maintain relaxed state! Don't allow spasms. Bronchi must remain open for free air passage. Coordinate with nerve fibers!
Task 5: Lymphocytes and neutrophils — strengthen immune response locally! If cough cause is infection, act precisely: surround pathogens, destroy, but avoid excessive tissue inflammation.
Task 6: Mucosal vessel cells — ensure blood flow! Deliver nutrients, oxygen and immune cells to irritation zone. Support tissue regeneration.
Task 7: Cough center neurons — coordinate protective reflex! Cough should be productive: not too frequent to avoid throat trauma, but strong enough to clear pathways.
