Increase fluid and salt intake (if medically appropriate), wear compression stockings, rise slowly from lying/sitting. These stabilize blood pressure and heart rate.

Task 4: Cardiovascular System — myocarditis, pericarditis, or microvascular dysfunction may persist post-infection. If you experience chest pain, palpitations, or syncope, seek cardiac evaluation immediately. Do not resume intense exercise without medical clearance.
Task 5: Neurological System — brain fog, memory issues, and cognitive fatigue result from neuroinflammation, hypoxia, or autoimmune processes. Support cognitive recovery with structured rest breaks, minimal multitasking, and cognitive pacing. Avoid overstimulation (screens, noise, decision fatigue).
Task 6: Immune System — chronic low-level inflammation and immune dysregulation persist. Anti-inflammatory diet (omega-3s, antioxidants, whole foods), adequate sleep, and stress reduction support immune recalibration. Avoid infections that could trigger relapses.
